Hello? I was told by Allen that there were supply runs into Credinta and I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind getting me some shoes? The ground here isn't very safe to walk on I've found. But... I have a small problem.

[The feed goes down to her feet, toes wiggling. And yes. That's some hair that you also see nearby, told you it was longer out of the braid, Allen.]

I don't know what size shoe I need. I've never worn shoes in my entire life. So I don't know if there's a way to tell what size I'll need.

[She's about to cut off the feed when...] Oh! And a brush.

Awww. So nice, Allen. Still, most of his concern over her situation goes right over her head. She hasn't yet connected the dots and probably won't unless she gets her hands on some paint or chalk again.]

There's a city nearby but I hadn't been to it until Eugene took me to see the floating lanterns.

He is, we didn't start out that way though. But I'm glad we've become friends.

He's not too used to so many new faces, stayed far away from Eugene when he first came in the tower.

Mother said that as well, but he's kept surprising me. [Smiles softly and...is that the faintest hint of a blush?] He is, extremely nice.

It is quite a change. [ He manages to say this very naturally despite them standing in what is essentially the remains of a massacre. ] Hope he feels more comfortable around us soon, I can think of at least two people who are already quite taken with him.

Mm, that's what I meant. [ If he notices the blush, it doesn't show. ] Even people you don't get along with at first can turn out to be quite alright when you understand them.
