[There's a soft groan from the other side of a rock that the PDA currently has a view of, a girl's soft voice as she wakes up.]

Pascal...? Eugene...?

[A blond head can now be seen but only the top of it, the sharp intake of breath as she realizes she's not where she's supposed to be.]

Pa-Pascal?! [Her tone is frantic now, scared.] Eugene!! [She gets to her feet, balance unsteady but you still don't get to see her face, just a long braid full of flowers.]

Pascal! [A discovery! She rushes over to this Pascal that's off screen, murmuring in low and worried tones that aren't picked up as the feed times out.]

[Oh god. Allen wouldn't know whether to facepalm or applaud her, probably.]

Nesreca... [Says it slowly, enunciating every word.] I've never heard of it before. [Pauses, taken back.] Rapunzel.

[Probably both. At least Cross is tall enough to avoid the frying pan to his head.]

I hadn't either until the odd little girl gave me my room number and told me I was here to play.

[He pauses for a moment, looking away to see if he was still standing in his hellhole apartment. Yep. Still there.]

A very... Whimsical name you have there, Rapunzel.

[She will still attempt this. Because it needs to be done. :|a]

She...she gave you one too? Where is this place that the number belongs to?

[Hahahaha.] Thank you...? [This would be Pascal climbing down her arm now to the device, staring into it at Cross, ignore the o: expression and expect a more suspicious one..]

[Mikk could phase it but Cross could always just teleport away if he actually felt threatened by the girl.]

In the apartment building. You seem to be living a floor below me too... Would you like me to come find you and bring you some where that would be safer then the graveyard?

[Aw... She has a chameleon version of Timcanpy. Cute.]

No need to thank me. Just an observation.

[Maybe even before she whacks him.]

I don't think I'm anywhere near an apartment building. [Trying not to clutch the PDA in her hand as she looks around.] Please? I'm...not sure how to get there from where I am.

[Only he won't nom your cigarettes. Just shove his tongue in your ear.] O-oh. This is Pascal, too. [Picking him up and pulling him back from being the only thing Cross sees.]

[It will be a race then.]

Well... Wait there. I'll be there in a moment and, just a warning, it will be a moment. Don't freak out.

[And, quiet true to his word, Cross goes from standing in his apartment to standing outside, near the graveyard. It was best he had made a mental map of the city to get around faster. He gives the girl a smile when the lizard is named for him, though this time it's not from the feed, but from the place where he's leaning against the gate of the graveyard.]

What a nice name for a nice little friend you have.

[A short race.]

[Too late. Eeking and falling into an open grave that was behind her. Pascal and the PDA remain on the grass but the girl is gone.]

Ow... [Rubbing at her backside down here, getting to her feet.] He likes it too, I think. [There are hands on the grave now as she tries to pull herself up, she's doing pretty good for a girl. All that upper body strength from pulling Gothel up.]

[A brow rose when the girl was gone and Cross moved from his spot, going to the hole Rapunzel had fallen down. He crouched down at the edge and reached out a hand to aid in her escape from the grave.]

Are you alright there? Let me help you...

[He waited to take her hand, but would let her continue to climb if she wanted to. So far the girl had proven to be rather impassive with all around her. It was now that he caught sight of the long trail of golden hair that hung from the girl's head and while it was only to her feet, the mass of braids and flowers in it proved in it's normal state, the hair would be much longer. Well then... She matched the fairytale to a tee.]

[She gives him a bit of a strained grin.] I'm fine. [But instead of hauling herself up and out the rest of the way she does grab his hand and use it as leverage to do so. Then promptly lets go of it to pick up Pascal, the PDA, and her frying pan.

It's less being impassive than just kind of...really trying to ignore it because the graveyard creeps the heebie jeebies out of her and she wants out. But Cross is helping her without asking anything in return and it's kind of rude to rush things like that, isn't it?]

We...won't be going to the building like that, will we?

[When she takes his hand, he lifts her from the rest of the hole with ease. He wouldn't be surprised if her hair weighed more then she did, but that is neither here nor there. For now, he waits for the girl to gather her friend and... Frying pan. Oh god, he hoped Allen wouldn't see that.]

A building like what?

[Once Rapunzel gathers her things and herself, Cross holds out his arm for her to put her own in his. He saw those bare feet and she would be much easier to guide back to the building safely if she stayed close. And no, he wasn't doing this to win her over, her safety was actually the first thing on his mind.]

[TOO LATE. He's seen it. And his stomach growled. But she wouldn't mind cooking for them if she had a kitchen and some food.]

The building where everyone is staying. L-like how you showed up.

[Because shoes or not she'd really rather walk back. :| The whole warping suddenly from one place to another doesn't sit well with Rapunzel even with her magic hair. It's not something she'd trust at first.

CAREFULLY PUTTING HER ARM AROUND HIS as the PDA is in one hand and the pan in the other. You had better not warp her. She will hit you with the pan for that.] I'd really rather not travel that way. N-not that it doesn't seem safe it's just. I don't think I'd feel comfortable with it?

[Wonderful. At least he did bring back some food with him from his trip across the river.]

Ah... Unfortunately that is where everyone is staying. I haven't bothered cleaning mine up since I got here but everyone else has seen to it to clean their new homes up.

[And walking her is how he will take her. He only ever takes other exorcists the other way to places and even then it's rare. Cross is stingy with his abilities at times. Besides, walking her around is the best way for her to get more used to the area.]

Not to worry. I only did that to get to you as quickly as I could. We'll be on foot back to your new home.

[Question is, is there a kitchen she can use?]

How dirty is it, then? [It would give her something to do at least. :|a

Good! Walking beside him, then. Concentrating on the road and where she's going than on Cross.]

Oh, I'm sure I probably wouldn't have moved even if you had walked here. Graveyards kind of freak me out. And Allen was keeping me company...
